I started my career with a degree in design from National Institute of Fashion Technology, Kolkata specialized in leather wanting to explore the world of textiles and thanks to Mr.Sabyasachi who gave me an opportunity to explore and understand the intricacies of textiles as my first job. After doing my Masters in Textiles from Domus Academy, Milan, Italy, I have got an opportunity to work with Carlos Osman who’s a senior designer at Armani and Scholarship Holder.
In collaboration with IUAV university, as part of the competition got selected, and being one of the top 12 people worldwide got a chance to get associated with the brand Bottega Veneta in Vicenza, Italy for a project.
Over time, after knowing and understanding the market I have started combining my skills and expertise in the form of balancing between our tradition and contemporary imagery to run my brand ‘TIL’.
